Google and Microsoft Look to Change Health Care

The behemoth bureaucracy that is health care against mighty Google. Now this will be fun to watch. It is indeed important for patients to be better informed, this is always laudable. However, the big problems with health care today, I would argue, are too basic to be solved by Mountain View or Redmond. Access to insurance and basic primary care, some sensible means of cost containment, an infrastructure for care of the elderly and those with long term disabilities, and the list goes on...

But who knows, since Google depends on advertising "space," maybe the Google lobbying militia will lean on the next administration to expand the health care space, and provide insurance to all Americans.
